Northeastern's co-op program was a launchpad for my career. I didn't just graduate with a degree - I gained invaluable real-world experience and a built-in network through my co-op placements. As a health science student, the location couldn't have been better. Imagine being surrounded by top research hospitals like MGH, BWH, Beth Israel, and Boston Children's! Finding mentors and internships was a breeze and I had a plethora of opportunities to choose from. The heart of Boston became my campus too. With museums, a vast array of restaurants and bars, and endless activities on my doorstep, weekends were anything but dull. Whether exploring on campus or venturing into the city, there was always something new to discover.

Northeastern has the best scholarships and boasts a wonderful Co-op or experiential program that helps students gain real worl work experience and develop skills. The University is safe for International students of color and respects every custom, every tradition of every student. Definitely a wonderful school to gain skillsets and be prepared for the world out there!

My experience at Northeastern was complex. It set a high expectation that fell through a lot of times but I also wouldn't have changed where I went for undergrad if I could go back. I made some really wonderful friends in a variety of majors because my own felt isolating and lonely. As an architecture major I was really impressed by the opportunities to travel, coop program, and the location of the university. We are around so many great schools and there are a lot of connections to be made. That being said, everyone in this college town is making these connections so there is a lot of competition without the space for everyone. I had the first two years on campus then the pandemic switched my schedule around so much that I was back home, then abroad, then back on campus for my final year of my 5 year program. A lot of adjustment that my department was not helpful, supportive, or flexible of. I wish more faculty and university advisors cared more about the students than the numbers.
