Let's start 2024 with a little bit of an oddball.Trombone Champ is a rhythm game but, unlike similar titles such as Guitar Hero and Wii Music, where you play the usual suspects (guitar, drums, etc.), here you play the trombone: it is very weird, very loud and already very funny as it is.But what if I told you that there is also a story to this game? An ancient tale of light and darkness, good and evil and... baboons?Like I said, it's quite an oddball and, being a goofy oddball myself, this has been an ideal project to work on! I had the time of my life coming up with zany names and descriptions, while learning the ins and outs of such underrated instruments, their history and also baboons (?).So a big thanks to Holy Wow Studios for the opportunity to work on the Italian localization of this game and and an even bigger thanks to my partner in crime Amanda Mancini for putting up with my silliness and turning it into a coherent and hilarious work!And with that being said, here's to a year full of great games to play and fulfilling to translate!#TromboneChamp#TranslatorsInTheCredits#gameloc#videogames#localization#translation#gamelocalization
